I have chaired several events at the Cambridge Literary Festival and at Heffers Bookshop in Cambridge, interviewing authors such as Elizabeth Day, Ann Cleeves, Sarah Vaughan, Elly Griffiths, Jim Kelly, and Louise Penny. I also co-organised the three Cambridge launches of the Words & Women anthologies, and MC'd the evenings, and moderated a cross-genre event for the Cambridge Festival of Ideas, organised by Cambridge University. I chaired a Crime and Wine panel event at the inaugural Sandgate Literary Weekend in October 2024 and, at the second Festival in 2025, interviewed bestselling author, Lisa Jewell.

I have always been interested in drama - both writing and performing - and have had a number of short plays performed by the WRiTEON Scriptwriting Forum. I have also directed plays for WRiTEON and, in 2019, I produced one of the venues for the WRiTEON Stage Festival, while also acting. I most recently appeared as the redoubtable Miss Ruddock in a production of Alan Bennett's Talking Heads staged by the Folkestone and Hythe Operatic and Dramatic Society (FHODS).
